spoon: Thanks. Again the sharpening on shutterchance made it a bit too sharp, but I think it's not that bad.

How did you do the B/W conversion??? ist veery niiice!
spoon: I usually do the BW conversion using 2 hue/sat layers. The one on top has saturation to 0 and the one below has the blending mode set to hue. Adjusting the hue in this one will take you through a wide enough tonal range. Thanks for the comment smile
Why so much post processing? You can shoot great monochromatic images with your 30D, and if you shoot raw images, you can convert the images back to color in you want.

This is nicely balanced, well composed; the tree is perfectly positioned. It shows lovely textures in the rocks, the sky is nicely graduated and it's as sharp as it needs to be.

Your capture and processing have produced a very professional looking result.
