Portrait of a statue

After about 2 hours walk we got to this park, far away from the train station in a small town nearby. And in the center there was this old statue of a man holding a fish. It looked interesting.

It is interesting, I wonder why the statue is there?
spoon: Well the park is part of a resort for treatment based on mineral water. So I am guessing that since they have some mineral water springs in the area and also some pools there...
Old and given up, there is much poetry in this image smile
